The Dos and Don'ts of Video Production
|
As a professional video and media producer with 10+ years of experience in the industry, I decided to produce an interactive learning module focused on the basics of video production. This Articulate Storyline module was designed for those who are new to the video production process and are wanting to learn some introductory information on topics such as equipment, shot composition, and lighting. I wanted to include a variety of interactive elements in this project - I think my favorite ended up being the one where the user can turn lights on and off to create different lighting scenarios on a model. If I were to revisit this project, I would like to include even more interactive elements, as well as additional links to external resources that my users could benefit from.

Understanding the Offensive College Football Landscape
Outside of work and school, one of the topics I follow closely is college football. The passion, rivalries, and unique strategies that fill the sport are, in my opinion, what make college football the most entertaining and engaging sport currently played. My instructor, Dr. Lloyd Rieber, for EDIT 6190E requested that we create a final project relevant to a personal interest so I decided to create a college football primer whose audience is, essentially, my wife: someone who knows the basics of the sport but would like to learn more! This Articulate Storyline project took a LOT of work - particularly the audio work to record descriptions of every program in the Power 5 conferences. If I were to go back to this project, I would probably approach that section of the module in a different way that did not require as much audio.
