2016 Online Learning Fellows Evaluation
With this project, my group members and I sought to evaluate the 2016 Online Learning Fellows program offered by the Office of Online Learning at the University of Georgia. This program was designed to train faculty looking to teach online for the first time at UGA on a variety of topics including best practices of course design, instructional tools within UGA’s LMS, and media development. Our team evaluated faculty engagement with the program, as well as their feelings on the program regarding its format, efficacy, etc. If we were to tackle this project again, I would like to incorporate the results of OOL’s Quality Matters evaluations with our own evaluations. These Quality Matters reports were developed to give faculty feedback on their online course designs and revealed to what degree faculty actually followed the training of the OLF program.
